Brown Clobbers Garcia

I’m not ready to proclaim Mike Brown a stud, but this was a crazy punch. You’ve probably heard Joe Rogan talk about “fighting in the pocket” before. Leonard Garcia gives a perfect example of how not to fight in the pocket. He came weak, tried to bail, then got crushed with a perfect right hand.

Bah, Garcia stinks, that had to be some of the sloppiest ‘boxing’ I’ve seen in a while – a bit Liddell-esque. Can’t wait for Torres to put on a jab clinic in Chicago.

This was a buildup fight to make Brown look better than he is. Faber will handle him in the second fight.

Leonard doesn’t stink by any means, it was very apparent that he was extremely nervous. His boxing looked horrible but he was dropped in the first twenty seconds of the fight, he never had a chance to calm down and get into his rhythm. I don’t even like Leonard I’m not defending him because I’m stuck on his nuts, it’s just unfair to say he’s not a good fighter because he got beat up by a better fighter. Urijah doesn’t suck but that no look elbow that got him knocked out was one of the stupidest things I’ve ever seen a fighter do. Mike deserves praise for his ability to capitalize on his opponents mistakes, he made two of the best featherweights in the world look ridiculous, kudos Mike Brown.
